Steeping a flavorful cup of tea from loose tea leaves requires the use of the right tools. This versatile accessory allows users to steep a variety of teas. Infusers are ideal for tea leaves with short steeping times such as black tea and green tea. When tea is ready, the infuser with tea leaves can be easily removed to prevent over-steeped bitter tea. When steeping another cup, the infuser can be placed back into the tumbler for re-steeping. The strainer is ideal when steeping tea using large tea leaves such as Oolong, Jasmine or White tea. Large tea leaves expand while steeping, and having enough space for tea leaves to open fully allow them to release all the flavor and aroma. The edge of the mouth is slightly curved out like the lip of a tea cup. The curved lip allows better control of the tea flowing into the mouth by making it easier to sip and aerate, which elevates the sensory experience of tea drinking. Vacuum insulation keeps the exterior from becoming hot when filled with hot beverages or from forming condensation when filled with ice cold beverages. The leak proof lid (when used properly according to the instruction manual) conveniently turns into an infuser stand. Inspired by the traditional purple clay teapot, the tumbler has a fine texture with a pourous finish. The 2.5" wide opening mouth is also convenient for easy cleaning.
