Kit Components - This kit includes a 9 7/8 inch bonding flange with 2 inch overall height uninstalled, adjustable height grate housing riser, hair catcher, construction cover, and the selected Premium Stainless steel square drain grate of your choice. Designed to fit over a standard 2" drain pipe. These kits are compatible with many floor structures but are particularly developed for bonded waterproofing assemblies.
Strength Tested - We use stronger, thicker, materials for increased strength and to protect your drain from everyday damage. Guaranteed not to bend or break under years of normal shower use.

Most of the focus on shower styles tend to be on the fixtures delivering the water. Draining the water from the wet area is equally as crucial. Square drains, in most cases, provide a cleaner more linear look than standard circular drains. This height adjustable kit has everything you need to successfully install your own square drain. Shower drain installation is not an incredibly tough job, so long as you do your research before you attempt to set everything up. Understanding what type of wet-area pan and drainage you have will assist you in understanding which wet-area drainage system is right for you. Something to keep in mind while doing your research is that a lot of wet-area drain pipes are created for a standard 2" drain pipe. If you happen to be going from a wet area/bathtub combination to a strictly wet area, you will probably need to alter the drainage pipeline size from a 1 1/2" pipeline to a 2" pipeline. When installing this DIY drain kit is that you will need to design/install the tiles in such a way that they slope towards the drain in order to best guide the water into it. Assemble these shower accessories from top to bottom as follows: blue, square construction plug, small slotted metal disc (hair trap), black height adjuster, and bonding flange. Use this to adjust the height of your slim, fast-draining grate so that it is even with your tile. You can even purchase multiple grates to have a replacement on hand. The bonding flange has an outlet that is 2" in diameter. To attach this part of the bonding flange to your plumbing, simply use regular PVC glue. With this kit, you’ll have everything you need to install a drain and stylish grate that works for you.
