Installation Instructions Flatten One End of the Backpack Piping Use pliers to gently flatten one end of the backpack piping. Be very careful not to damage the fabric around the piping. Avoid using excessive force or ribbed/abrasive pliers. The goal is to flatten the piping just enough to allow the clip to slide through. Slide the Clip Over the Flattened Piping Start by sliding one end of the clip over the flattened piping, followed by the rest of the clip. A flathead screwdriver tip can be used to pry open the piping clip and widen its opening. Take care not to rip the fabric around the piping by using excessive force.7 Massage Flattened Piping Back to Its Original Rounded Shape Use your fingers to gently massage the flattened piping back to its original rounded shape.
