Compatible Models: This product is compatible with specific series of clocks/weather stations such as W872, W870, and W552. Please ensure your device model is within this range to ensure normal operation. Measuring Range and Special Notes: The product's measuring range is temperature -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C) and humidity 10% to 99% RH. Please note that when the outdoor temperature is expected to be below -4°F (-20°C), a lithium battery must be used for the outdoor sensor to ensure normal operation in extremely cold conditions. Battery Usage Instructions: The device requires two AA batteries (not included). Always use brand-new batteries of the same brand and type. Do not mix old or new batteries or different types of batteries (such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries). Clean the contacts and confirm correct polarity before installation. If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries. Installation Location and Method: For accurate data, install the outdoor sensor in a shaded location such as under an eave or railing (preferably on the north side), and ensure it is installed vertically to facilitate drainage. The recommended installation height is at least 6 feet (1.8 meters). This helps avoid reading distortion caused by direct sunlight and enhances signal transmission. Signal Transmission and Interference Resistance: In an ideal, unobstructed environment, the maximum wireless transmission distance is 300 feet (100 meters). To ensure signal stability, keep the main unit and sensor at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from large metal objects, thick walls, and electronic devices such as televisions and microwave ovens to reduce potential interference.
