Lay the Trip Bar over the Spring Bar and insert it into the Trigger. The trap is now set and ready to use, providing optimal mole and gopher control. Placing the Trap: Locate an active tunnel (fresh mounds indicate active tunnels). Using a trowel or spade, remove soil to expose the open tunnel. Install the GONZO 5029 trap in the open tunnel as illustrated and seal the perimeter with loose soil, ensuring no light enters the tunnel for effective mole and gopher elimination. Daily Monitoring: Check traps daily, especially during the night and early morning hours when gophers are most active. Remove any captured gophers, reset the trap, and re-install. Non-activated traps indicate an inactive tunnel, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness of your mole and gopher control strategy.
