You can set the timer and activate the lock, and the lid will lock with the base, when the timer reaches 0, the lid will unlock. Just lock up those tempting items that may distract you from achieving your goals. How does this time-locking container work? 1.Place an item in the container, then put the lid onto the base. 2.Press the function key and hold for 5 seconds to turn the device on. 3.Press the function key (do not hold) to switch the time setting (Min, Hrs, Days). 4.The plus and minus keys allow you to increase or decrease the time. The timer can be set from 1 minute up to 10 days. Progress can be tracked on the LCD screen. 5.After the timer is set, press the function key and hold for 5 seconds to activate the lock.
