The assembly features a zinc-plated 1-1/4-inch base for added bonnet clearance and requires a 2.9-inch clearance above the carburetor flange for installation. The kit includes an ExtraFlow filter cover that increases the filter area, allowing it to outperform standard closed covers.The SeaEagles Extraflow kit features red synthetic filter paper designed to improve performance by increasing airflow into the engine.
