THREADS: 3/8 NPT Male Thread (OD approx 0.64" - 0.68", 18 Threads Per Inch) x 1/2 NPT Female Thread (ID approx 0.73" - 0.8", 14 Threads Per Inch), not easy to slip, the NPT threads create a tighter seal than straight threads, and smoother threads for easier and quicker installation. MATERIAL: Made of premium solid brass, high strength and hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, more durable than iron / iron galvanized pipe fittings. USE: Work temperatures range from -53°C to 121°C (-65°F to 250°F), can be used with garden sprinkler, grease, fuels, refrigeration, instrumentation and hydraulic systems in low and medium pressure pipe line connections.
