- HOSOM is a professional door hinge manufacturer. These spring hinges make the door close automatically, saving the troubles closing the door by yourself or reminding others to close the door behind them. Smaller, simpler and and more beautiful than the bulky door closer/arms. You can use only a screwdriver to replace them in minutes and use the accompanying hex wrench to freely adjust the closing force you need. The number of the hinges you may need: ·First, make sure the size is what you need. These are 4 inches. ·If the door is no more than 40 lbs, one is recommended. ·If the door is 85 to 100 lbs, two is recommended. ·The heavier the door is, the more hinges you'll need. But make sure they are set to the same tension for one door. Attention: ·Come with both machine screws and wood screws, so both 1-3/4'' and 1-3/8'' thick doors applicable. ·Make sure the door is in closed position when you adjust the tension. ·Always rotate the tension adjustment rod or hex wrench to the left regardless of right-hand or left-hand door application. ·After final adjustment, drive the pin flush with the hinge barrel ·You cannot make them self-opening by adjusting the tension to be negative.
