- A special bundle we have put together for portable active Inmarsat reception. Includes SAWbird+ iO (dual LNA and filter in aluminum enclosure), a high gain Inmarsat patch antenna, an SMA DC block, a male SMA to male SMA barrel adapter, a male SMA to male SMA pigtail cable, a micro USB cable, and a micro USB to barrel connector cable. We have designed this bundle to be compatible with most common SDRs, including all the SDRs in our lineup! Our high performance L-Band (Inmarsat) patch antenna with a gain of ~3.5dBi and a female SMA connector. The antenna works very well for both right hand circularly polarized (RHCP) and linear signal types, and has excellent performance over the entire range of Iridium signals. The antenna is only 95mm x 79mm (3.75" x 3.10") and weighs just 21g (0.75oz)! Receives Inmarsat broadcasts with ease, even when not well pointed at the appropriate satellites, which drastically simplifies setup. We have used this antenna with great success for AERO and STD-C signals, even indoors!
