- Pneumatically driven seats are designed for 14 mm and 18 mm diameter spark plug holes and are commonly found on all LS engine platforms. The other end is a 0.64cm inner NPT connector for easy connection to an air hose quick connection fitting. 14mm is the standard spark plug size for most domestic and foreign vehicles. The actual part may be different from the picture. Use this tool when installing cylinder springs with the cylinder head mounted on the engine. This tool allows the combustion chamber/cylinder to be filled with compressed air, keeping the valve closed while the valve spring is replaced. Simply place the cylinder you are using at the top dead center, screw the tool into the spark plug hole, and fill the cylinder with compressed air. When performing spring replacement, be sure to maintain the air pressure in the cylinder.

Also compatible with Dodge Ram 318 360 5.2 5.9 Engine (but need to use your original bolts). Upgrade manufacturing, T - shaped parts are marked with "TOP" for ease of use. This ls valve spring compressor tool is for 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, and 6.2L LS Engines and is a must when it comes time to install a new set of valve springs! Bolts and nuts Kit built from 3/8" Steel and Precision CNC Machined for a great fit and Durability. Performance levels are 10.9, 10.9 and 12.9, much better than the other 8.8. Springs are not included in the product. Read the instructions included in the package first. Tips: Adding lubricant will work more perfectly.
