- Our ActiveDogs Leather Reflective Snap-On Bridge Handle is used in conjunction with service dog vests and harnesses to extend the reach between a dog and the handler. This service dog vest handle will attach to our Guide Dog Harness, Mobility, Harness, or any vests that have the two D-rings. This is a hard-sided bridge handle that is hand stitched and of the highest quality.Constructed of two layers of leather and topped with reflective webbing wrapped around steel rods, the bridge handle is stitched throughout and has heavy duty brass rivets. It attaches and secures to a harness or vest with two superior quality spring snaps. The handle itself is wrapped in neoprene for an easy and comfortable grip.The snap-on bridge handle comes with a removable sliding identification band that reads "Service Dog" in reflective text that can be recognized from a distance and clearly identifies a working service dog. The reflective webbing and the reflective text on this bridge handle add a safety feature to this handle.Features:Made in USANeoprene handleIncludes "Service Dog" safety band that can be removed3 sizes: 8", 12", 16"Service Dog vs. Therapy Dog: A service dog is for a person who is legally disabled and the dog must be trained to perform a task. The handler has public access rights with service dogs and they are protected under Federal ADA Law. A therapy dog is trained to meet the needs of others, such as a dog visiting nursing homes, hospitals, schools, etc. while doing pet therapy work. The handlers do not have ADA public access rights with therapy dogs and must have permission from an establishment to enter.
