"Talon" is a tactical game of space fleet combat between the Terran Confederation and the invading Talonthincanthanadu - Talon - Empire. Games involving space fleet combat tend to either super-simplify ship capabilities to a point of monotony or require large reference sheets to a point of being cumbersome. Talon allows you to have your cake and eat it too. By giving each ship a Power Curve, the unrealistic, long-term planning and referencing that bogs down similar games is simplified, though players are still allowed (and encouraged) to prioritize ship functions. Talon is a game which is fast-paced, thematic, requires meaningful decision making, and - importantly - is fun to play. Despite the subject, this game will not burn your brain, but will make you agonize over choices.
