Wendy, Derek, Mikaela and Logan Pausewang, collectively known as Southern Anthem, are a fresh and uprising band. From fairs and festivals, to Branson, national television appearances, and requests from Nashville and beyond, the demand for their unique family harmony now has them traveling full time across the US. What started as a need to have interim talent at a local theater production has grown into a full time ministry for Southern Anthem. Although the group began singing in church years ago, they never dreamed it would lead to the calling that God placed in their hearts. The band has a growing audience spanning from the youngest to oldest of fans enthralled by the talent of the Pausewang family. Now, with the debut of their 2nd album with the original title track, 'Savior Save Me', they have even more to offer their fans. These heart-warming performers sing originals and cover songs consisting of traditional country, new country, country gospel and bluegrass to standing room only audiences. The band of four has a tight and beautiful harmony that only can be achieved when you combine vocals within a family. All play instruments which adds to the quality and interest of their music. Equipped with their own stage gear and sound engineer, Southern Anthem creates a crowd pleasing experience that people can relate to and remember.
