Your glucose monitoring system is performing correctly if the control solution test result falls within the specific control solution range listed on your test strip vial. It is recommended to use CONTOUR NEXT Control Solution on a regular basis; you should perform a control test when: using your meter for the first time; you open a new bottle or package of test strips; you think your meter may not be working properly; you have repeated, unexpected blood sugar results.
