This preserve has a deep purple-red colour with added sloe gin notes and good aromas of blackcurrants, both providing a rich flavour which lasts long after tasting. Preserving Tradition - Made in Arbroath, Scotland with traditional recipes and methods. Made from all natural ingredients using traditional recipes, each flavor is batch made in copper kettles. The signature jars’ shape, exclusive to Mrs Bridges, traditional mop cap and golden bow add a touch of luxury. Great on anything - Delicious spreads for toast, scones, or as a glaze for meats, our fruit jam, perserves, marmalades, curds and chutneys are the perfect addition to any meal. Mrs. Bridges began as an under-cook in Victorian England and published the famous Practical Household Cookery in 1905. Her legacy lives on in these traditional jams, marmalades, and condiments.
