- Developed and manufactured exclusively in Germany, the Schneider® Slider Basic XB Ballpoint Pen is produced carbon neutrally and certified Climate Neutral by ClimatePartner. Advanced Viscoglide® technology features a guaranteed quick-start, easy ink flow for a smooth, gliding writing experience with vivid color and distinct writing feel. Smudge-proof ink dries quickly, even on smooth paper and when later highlighted. The wear-resistant stainless steel tip helps prevents grinding across the page. The ergonomic shape and rubberized grip zone promotes relaxed writing without hand fatigue for longer writing sessions. Transparent cap with clip fits neatly on either end of the barrel. Black ink is waterproof according to ink standard ISO 12757-2 and suitable for documentary use. The Schneider® Slider Basic Ballpoint Pen writes Extra Broad (XB), or approximately 1.4 mm, line width.
