- Traffic Entertainment Group in partnership with Strong City Records is proud to present the re-release of the Masters of Ceremony’s critically acclaimed debut album “Dynamite”. Masters of Ceremony, who’s members included Grand Puba Maxwell (who later moved on to form Brand Nubian), Dr. Who & D.J. Shabazz, had a sound that caught the ear of Jazzy Jay, Hip Hop pioneer and owner of Strong City Records. Recorded in the Bronx by Jazzy Jay himself, this album was heavily influenced by the break beat culture of the late 70s. With its dense production value and rapid fire vocal delivery, “Dynamite” is a perfect example of “golden era” Hip Hop. To guarantee optimal sound quality, all tracks have been transferred and re-mastered by Jazzy Jay using the original studio master tapes.
