- GRAPH TECH STRING SAVER PG-8000-00 – CLASSICS STRAT & TELE STYLE SADDLES – 2 1/6“ STRING SPACING – BRUSHED STEEL FINISH: The PG-8000-00 is a set of six String Saver Classics for a Strat or Tele style guitar with a 2 1/16" string spacing with a brushed steel finish. They have a small String Saver insert in the saddle to dramatically reduce string breakage and improve tuning stability. Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster. String Saver Classics are made with an extremely high quality steel saddle with our patented String Saver material inserted in the string ramp. String Saver Classics preserve the classic bite of a metal saddles while freeing you from the problem of breaking strings. Each saddle is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth. The PTFE in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage. New material improves sustain and enhances the life span of the strings.
