- Ivan Anthony E. was born in 1964 in New York City and moved with his family to Fajardo, Puerto Rico, at the age of six. Adapting to a new language and culture, he grew into a quiet yet energetic child with a natural curiosity and love for learning. He began his higher education in Civil Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez, but his desire for adventure led him to a seven-year military career, including tours in South Korea near the DMZ and in Texas, experiences that shaped his resilience and broadened his worldview. After his military service, Ivan became a professional commercial driver, traveling across the United States and witnessing the vast beauty of God’s creation on the open highways. Along the way, he developed a deep appreciation for hard work and freedom. A devoted father to Ivan Jr., Natasha, and Shadava (Ava), he now enjoys a semi-retired life in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by family, faith, and the enduring lessons passed down from his own father.
