- Inside each window of this advent calendar, you will find a Sudoku puzzle to solve. As well as classic Sudoku puzzles, the calendar also features other popular variants – such as Killer Sudoku, Jigsaw Sudoku, Sudoku X, and more.
- To give your December Sudoku-solving a purpose, we have created a points system. Your goal is, of course, to get as many points as possible by solving as many puzzles as you can. Correctly solved puzzles are worth 1, 2, 3, or 4 points, depending on their difficulty. On Christmas Eve, it’s time to sum up your score and see if you have earned a medal or not.
- The puzzles have been created by the experienced puzzle creator Andrew Stuart, whose carefully calibrated Sudoku puzzles and variants have been published in major newspapers and puzzle books for many years. Every puzzle is guaranteed to have a unique and logical solution. For the very hardest puzzles, the strategies involved to solve them might be obscure, but each one can be solved using brain power – no need for guessing.
- If you’re relatively new to Sudoku, the hardest puzzles may leave you completely stumped – but don’t worry, the following day’s puzzle will probably be easier. On the other hand, if you’re a Sudoku enthusiast, you may well breeze through some of the easy ones and find the hard ones more interesting. If you’re a true expert, we challenge you to try to solve ALL puzzles in the calendar and earn the maximum 53 points. Can you do it?
- Solutions to the puzzles are included on a special folded (and spoiler-safe sheet), and are also available online. The size of the calendar is 8.5″ x 25.4″ (21.5 x 64.5 cm) when unfolded, and 8.5″ x 14″ (21.5 x 35.5 cm) folded. Language: English, German, Swedish, Norwegian.

This advent calendar is the perfect gift for sudoku-enthusiasts, and just like a normal advent calendar it contains numbered windows to open on the day that corresponds to the number, starting with December 1 and ending with December 24.
