This Insect Rearing Cage uses very fine 150 x 150 mesh Nylon netting that effectively keeps aphids, thrips, and parasitic wasps from escaping or entering the cage.
The insect cage is L12 x W12 x H12 inches, making it a perfect fit for lab selves with limited space.
The insect cage is very easy to assemble by simply connecting poles with splints.
The all mesh side panels are of fine Nylon netting (150 x 150 mesh) for ventilation. There is a 5.5" diameter sleeve opening in the front panel for addition or removal of insects and for replacement of food material.
The framework insect cage is of lightweight a stainless steel frame and constructed outside the enclosure. There are no places for insects to hide inside the cage.

About this product The Restcloud Insect Rearing Cage consists of a stainless steel frame constructed from individual poles and connectors. The mesh tent threads onto this frame to form a self-contained enclosure that is large enough for small potted plants and in which insects and other bugs can be reared and maintained safely. The frame is positioned outside of the enclosure which means that there are no folds or crevices for bugs to hide in. This rearing cage has a large zippered opening in the front panel that allows the addition and removal of plants and feeders. In the centre of this panel is also a 5.5" diameter sleeve opening that can be used to provide food and remove insects with minimal risk of insect escape. It has 160µm aperture, fine nylon mesh on all sides.
