The Meinl Sonic Energy Professional 12" Steel Tongue Drum is a rich and full-sounding melodic percussion instrument that produces a delicate, ethereal tone, evoking senses of calm and relaxation (like a soft steel pan drum). This drum can be played by anyone with or without a musical background. Pre-tuned to the key of G Major with 8 notes (G3/ A3, B3, D4, E4, G4, A4 and B4), each tongue produces a pitch that complements all others to complete a musical scale. This means you can never play a wrong note, making this drum perfect for non-musicians or sound healing therapy practitioners. Precision crafted to deliver beautiful, expressive melodies, these drums are fantastic for meditation, sound healing therapy, yoga or solo performances, and they are well-suited for ensemble use. Its sound port on the underside allows the frequencies to fill your environment around you, and three circular feet allow you to place the drum down on any surface. Features a beautiful vintage brown powder coated finish. The drum includes a flexible synthetic Steel Tongue Drum Mallet pair with soft rubber heads that draw out a full and tranquil tone. This drum also comes with a padded bag to protect during transport or storage.
