The lifespan of each filter can reach up to 1800 gallons, depending on how much sediment you're trying to filter and how well you maintain it in between use. Just one filter can provide up to 10 years of drinking water for the average person, (182.5 gallons of water per year). Each filter comes individually sealed with its own backflushing plunger, which will help extend the life of your filter and keep the waterflow steady.
