The gain(dBi ) :it's gain is 11/12dBi ,higher than most antenna in the market .dBi is a measurement of the power. The theory is, increasing the power should increase the range.higher the gain ,power the signal ,longer the range .
Use skills:Any antenna is heavily dependent on the surroundings.It is an omni-directional antenna which can be placed in a more optimal position for WiFi Reception. you will extend the range of a wifi signal by moving the antenna further out and away from objects (walls, trees, concrete, etc) that might be blocking the signal from the source.
Cable :The package includes 3 Meter 50 ohms RG58 wire (lower signal loss), and its length will not cause attenuation of signal strength.
Power:the 2.4g/5.8g antenna does not require power,it is just plug and play ,don't need any setting up.
