Hand wash only with gentle soap, not dishwasher safe.Product Note: Just like a shiny new penny the copper finish on this kettle will naturally darken with time and use. Many people love the patina, but if you wish to restore a shinier finish try our simple homemade cleaning recipe: Dissolve 1 Tablespoon of salt in 1/4 cup of vinegar. Use a soft paper towel to apply the solution to a small area of the kettle and rinse quickly under running water. Continue until entire kettle is shiny. Pat dry with a soft paper towel.
