Improved Video FunctionsVertical video support allows you to seamlessly record video in vertical aspect ratios, perfect for vlogging and sharing on social media. Interval shooting enables you to take multiple photos spaced out over a set period of time to better capture action or time-lapses. Pro Capture mode helps you freeze the perfect moment in an action sequence by buffering images when the shutter button is at half-press. The TG-7 saves up to 70 images of the most recently buffered images both before and after the shutter button is released.
Expansive Macro SystemExtend past the TG-7's 4x optical zoom with four macro shooting modes for capturing scenes up close. Select Microscope mode to capture images with an incredibly short minimum focusing distance of 0.39". To zoom up to 44x closer, switch to Microscope Control mode. Utilize Focus Stacking mode to merge multiple images and create one photo with great depth of field. Focus Bracketing allows you to capture up to 30 images at various focus points which can then be composited in post-production.
