- Motor And Servo Driver HAT is a motor/servo expansion board for Raspberry Pi 40-pin header, combining PCA9685 (16-channel high-resolution PWM) and TB6612FNG dual H-bridge motor driver. It enables control of 2 DC motors and 6 servos simultaneously via I2C, reducing CPU overhead. With 6-12V motor supply, 3.3V logic, an onboard power switch, and DIP-switch I2C address selection, it’s ideal for robotics, pan-tilt platforms, and multi-actuator projects.

Designed for Raspberry Pi, this HAT can drive 2 DC motors and 6 servos at the same time, controlled via I2C registers for synchronized motion. Built on PCA9685 with 16 PWM channels and 12-bit (4096-step) resolution, up to 4µs resolution at 60Hz; onboard 25MHz oscillator. TB6612FNG dual H-bridge drives two motors; up to 1A continuous per channel, 2A/3A peak on startup, with forward/reverse/brake/stop modes. Features a dedicated power switch (turn to ON after power-up) and DIP switch for I2C address selection (demo code default: 0x7F). Supports 6-12V motor supply and 3.3V logic; includes Python/C demos plus I2C setup & detection steps for quick bring-up in robotics, pan-tilt, and actuator projects.
