- This is a notebook created for anyone studying microscopy either professionally and/or as a hobby. Created by somebody in the field of biology, this is a notebook designed to help guide anyone studying for a test, and/or recording interesting observations. Features: One page is dedicated to the observations within the viewfinder, with space to label and draw a line to the corresponding cell part. At the top, the specimen type, magnification, date, and page number may also be noted and recorded. Next, there are two pages to discuss the parts labeled. The parts name and the functions, and any special remarks regarding the specimen itself. Definitions may also be added in. Lastly, There is a page dedicated to the specimen and experiment itself. With a dedicated space for the taxonomic classification, anything added to create a reaction (example would be 5% NaCl to close the stomata of a plant), and any additional notes or special procedures. This can include slide preparation, notes about the slide itself, and any odd observations to examine further at a later date. Additionally, a hardcover copy is available for a more sturdy option.
