The weatherproof and corrosion-resistant key lock consists of 5 levels of anti-rust protection: (1) the outer ABS hardened plastic shell encases the inner lock, (2) the key hole cover is sand proof and splash proof, (3) the lock core is constructed of brass, which has superior anti-corrosion resistance, (4) the lock shell is constructed of marine grade galvanized steel, and (5) the lock shell is coated in a protective sealant. NOTE: if salt water enters the locking mechanism, flush with fresh water and lubricate. Versatile and intuitive design. Unlike most security cables, the male end of the cable is the same diameter as the cable itself. This allows the cable to pass through narrow spaces such as wheels, seat posts, gate posts and more. Mounting bracket included. The security cable lock set includes an upgraded mounting bracket. Attach the bracket to any seat or frame post. The bracket fits any post size 0.75” to 1.5” in diameter. The cable’s bracket connector easily slides into the mounting bracket and clicks into place.
