- LC/UPC to LC/UPC OM4 Switchable Multimode Fiber Optic Cable enables 40/100G network connections. The retractable strain-relief housings enable toolless polarity switching. Color-coded LC-Duplex connectors ensure error-free polarity configuration. Ideal for high connection density environments. With laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF), the patch cable is ideal for 850nm and 1300nm VCSEL and LED sources. This aqua fiber optic cable is backward compatible with 50/125 fiber equipment, ensuring a reliable connection with legacy LANs. Housed in a LSZH (Low-Smoke, Zero-Halogen) flame retardant jacket, this MM fiber optic cable ensures minimal smoke, toxicity and corrosion when exposed to extreme sources of heat, or in the event of a fire. It is safe for a wide range of installations, including industrial settings, central offices and schools, as well as residential settings where building codes are a consideration. Each OM4 switchable fiber patch cable is individually tested for insertion loss performance that meets or exceeds the TIA/EIA-568 industry standard, for guaranteed compatibility and 100% reliability. This Multimode Fiber Cable is backed for life, including free lifetime multi-lingual technical assistance.
