- 20 Years Scooter - 20 Years Of Hardcore Scooters Debutsingle, "Vallée de Larmes", was released as a vinyl record back in 1993. On the occasion of the 20th band anniversary celebrated at the end of 2013, the first 15 Scooter studio albums are now rereleased as '20 Years Of Hardcore - Expanded Edition'. A 20 year career in musicbiz is half an eternity and reserved for only a few exceptional artists. Only those bands and artists remain who could build a faithful and stable fan base within no time. In their initial phase, Scooter managed to bring the great feat of the techno deeply rooted in the underground through their own interpretation directly into the charts. The success gives the trio around H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan and Michael Simon still right, fans still flock to their concerts by thousands, and their albums all reach highest chart placements. All 51 previously released singles made the leap into the sales charts, many of them into the top ten. This made Scooter the most successful German band since the introduction of the charts. The '20 Years Of Hardcore-Expanded Edition' series each appears Digitally Remastered in a double CD or 3 CD set in digipack. CD1 includes the digitally remastered original album, CD2 selected versions and remixes, single B-sides and hard to find rarities. Distributed throughout the year, three scooter albums are rereleased in parallel in chronological order of the earlier releases. The digipack backs of all 15 scooter albums merge into a graphic overall picture that underlines the series in its compactness.
