- Grade 3 Lined Paper This paper is for Grade 3 children (approx 7 years and over). The spacing between the lines is 3/8" and the gap between each set of lines is 3/8". (Please see guide below). There are 13 double lines (with dotted centre line) per page. The lines have been given a small amount of transparency so they are dark enough but not overpowering and your childs writing is still clearly visible, even if they write with pencil. Rainbow Tracker As with all `Habits of Learning` books, it comes with a Rainbow Tracker (or something similar) to encourage daily practice. The instructions on how to use the Rainbow Tracker are at the back of the book. There is also a summary of tips and tricks on how to increase your childs chances of forming successful habits. The aim is to create habits that lead to scholastic success. Certificate There is a certificate at the back of the book. Other Blank Paper For Different Ages The blank paper comes with different line spacing. The ages are only a guide as each child is different. Please select the one most suitable for your child. Depending on the age at which your child starts to write, and their progress, you may decide to skip a level if you think a smaller line spacing is suitable. Level 1 : Pre-K. The double lines are 1 1/2" apart and the gap between each set of lines is 1". (4 double lines per page) Level 2 : Kindergarten 1. The double lines are 1" apart and the gap between each set of lines is 5/8". (6 double lines per page) Level 3 : Kindergarten 2 and 1st Grade. The double lines are 3/4" apart and the gap between each set of lines is 1/2". (8 double lines per page) Level 4 : 2nd Grade. The double lines are 1/2" apart and the gap between each set of lines is 3/8". (11 double lines per page) Level 5 : 3rd Grade. The double lines are 3/8" apart and the gap between each set of lines is 3/8". (13 double lines per page) The pages are not perforated but many parents do decide to rip the pages out of the book.
