- With the Silverline 7.5ft V-Drum Splitter Cable, easily connect a new cymbal, pad or other trigger to your compatible Yamaha electronic drum set. These cables are 7.5 feet (2.3 meters) long to easily run from your drum module to your drum triggers. The Silverline Audio 7.5ft V-Drum Splitter converts a straight 1/4 inch stereo/TRS cable into two right angle mono/TS cables. Features: 7.5 Feet Long (2.3 Meters), Color: Black Nickel-plated plugs for rugged durability and efficient signal transfer Shielded, Insulated, Copper wiring for Enhanced Signal Clarity 1X 1/4 inch TRS Straight Cable to 2X 1/4 inch TS Right Angle Cables Metric: 2X 6.35mm TRS Straight Angle -- 2X 6.35mm TS Right Angle Cable Our 7.5ft V-Drum Splitter is custom made with an 100 ohm resistor to balance the signal levels that would normally be sent to a single two zone trigger (for example the, drum head and the rim) , so that they can send two separate working trigger signals to 2 different drum pads/cymbals/triggers. *Regular stereo splitter cables will not produce a balanced volume and for some modules it will not work at all. To clarify it's use, this cable does *not* take a single sound and make it playable on two pads/cymbals/triggers, that's not possible. It *does* take one input or cable for a dual zone, 2 sound pad/cymbal/trigger and sends each of those singular sounds to 2 separate pads/cymbals/triggers. The primary things you need to know: -Is the trigger input/cable you're splitting dual zone/controls 2 sounds (to be split)? -Can your module reassign sounds? (you can still split the signal, but if you can't reassign both sounds you will be stuck with whatever sound is associated with the signal as a whole (Drum Pad + Rim, Cymbal + Bell, etc)
