- This product was designed with care by a nurse educator as an inexpensive option to allow healthcare students to practice their IV and phlebotomy skills. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Parts are washable and easily cleaned. May be used with imitation blood that comes with the set or any other thin red liquid, to provide a realistic response when needle is placed correctly in the "vein". This product is compatible with products that come in a standard IV/Phlebotomy kit. May be used on a flat surface or wrapped around a towel or pool noodle to simulate an arm. DO NOT WRAP AROUND A HUMAN ARM FOR PRACTICE or injury may occur. The set includes: imitation skin, 12" Velcro strap, rubber tubing with connector and clamp, blood bag, 2oz bottle imitation blood, 12" stand. ***The set does NOT include IV start kit supplies or needles.***

Product is easy to assemble and disassemble, and easy to clean. Compatible with products contained in a standard IV start/phlebotomy kit, such as alcohol, iodine, and ChloraPrep. May use imitation blood or other red liquid to simulate a realistic response to needle being inserted into the vein. Can see a flash of bleed in the needle chamber upon entry into the "vein". Rubber tubing reseals allowing for multiple use.
