- The LS2 Helmets Copter open motorcycle helmet is perfect for your urban adventures or for touring riders or commuters who want a light weight, open helmet that has the ultimate in ventilation to keep the rider cooler and more comfortable. The shell is made from LS2 Helmet’s proprietary High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology (HPTT). We use two shell sizes, so you get the smallest helmet possible in your size. Massive fully adjustable air vents at the top are ported through the inner EPS to keep you cool, and close tight when the weather requires. The flip-up shield offers wide peripheral vision and is built with 3D optically correct Class A polycarbonate for optimal clarity. The LS2 Helmets Copter includes our popular drop down sun shield. The sun shield is easily engaged using the lever at the front left side of the helmet and uses an internal cable system for long life and durability. The comfort padding is fully removable and washable so you can keep it as fresh as the day you bought it, always hand wash and air dry. We top it all off with our DOT approved quick release chin strap to keep it secure. The LS2 Helmets Copter brings the latest technology to open motorcycle helmets. DOT approved.
