- O’Creme Bakeable Plastic Mold. This food-safe superior substitute for aluminum foil pans withstands cold as low as minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit and heat as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit, letting you bake in the mold and then put it in the freezer. But the mold’s advantages go further. It resists acid, alkalis, strong oxidizer, hydrocarbon solvent, alcohol, fat, grease and oil. This thermoformed plastic mold meets industry standards AIB, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, GMP, ISO and Mil-Spec. certified, including the silicone coating on the mold’s interior, applied to the mold for easy release. Eco friendly, this mold owes its recyclability to its molecular weight. Made of CPET — meaning PET crystallized for heat resistance, rigidity, and toughness — the mold weighs no more than 0.38 ounce = 0.02 pound. Although disposable, the mold stands up to reuse — innumerable times. Note: You may notice tiny dots on the mold (miniscule concavities on the interior and protrusions on the exterior). These dots are no more than a byproduct of the manufacturing process and do not affect the quality or performance of the mold.
