- Released in 1993, Paul Is Live was recorded during the New World Tour in support of his Off the Ground album. His fifth live album is famous for its title's double meaning and the rumor-scotching cover art. Ever since the 1969 release of Abbey Road, there had been hoax-fueled stories of Paul's untimely death. The artwork is a play on the famous Abbey Road cover, with Paul crossing that same street but wearing shoes and using his left hand (originally, his bare feet and cigarette in his right hand had supposedly been clues it wasn't him on the cover). In addition to solo, Wings and Beatles favorites, the album also offers an insight into the band's soundchecks with the final 3 songs being improvised during rehearsals on tour. 2019 Remaster. 2 LP set.
