The signature corner lays down a beautiful, crisp line on the clay, while the rest of the rib gives you a complete shaping toolkit in one piece—two flat surfaces for clean planes and controlled smoothing, plus three radiuses for refining curves and transitions. Like all Mudtools polymer pottery ribs, Shape 4 is made from a unique flexible material engineered to resist wear and the formation of burrs. With normal studio use, the surface becomes naturally burnished over time, so it glides even smoother as it breaks in. Choose from four flexibility levels—Red (Very Soft), Yellow (Soft), Green (Medium), Blue (Firm)—to match your clay body and preferred feedback.
