The aim of our kids workbooks is to build an effective science learning foundation while also having fun. A Reason For Science Student Workbook Level E, 5th Grade is packed with 36 total lessons. This specific teacher guidebook goes together with the subsequent lesson. Lessons 1-9 cover Life Science, Lessons 10-18 cover Physical Science – Forces, Lessons 19-27 cover Earth Science and Lessons 28-36 cover Physical Science - Energy & Matter. The different concepts covered in our workbooks for 5th graders are growth, eye structure, velocity, molecules, torque, glaciers, and more. Lessons are designed to model the way scientific study works in college laboratory classes and beyond. Students begin with a hands-on activity that introduces a fundamental scientific principle, then record and analyze their findings. The fifth grade workbooks provides space for students to write their own responses to questions, keep notes, and journal about their observations.
