This galvanized steel wildlife feeder control box is a heavy-duty lower-unit solution designed for extreme outdoor environments. The housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel with a captive hinged lid to secure internal electronics from moisture, rust, and debris. This kit comes equipped with a high-torque 12-volt motor featuring a standard 1/4-inch drive shaft and a specialized swinging gate spinner plate. The gated spinner mechanism remains closed when not in use, physically restricting access to the spinner plate and helping to prevent wind-driven feed loss. Each unit includes two adjustable T-bracket mounting arms and self-drilling screws for secure attachment to any 55-gallon metal or plastic barrel. The spacious interior measures 8.5" W x 6" D x 6.5" H, providing ample room for standard 12V rechargeable batteries and digital timers (battery and timer not included).
