- The RoadLink derailleur hanger extension is a unique, patented device that offsets your road derailleur so you can run wide-range cassettes. It lets riders convert to a single front chainring without giving up range, and gives 2x riders lower gears for steep climbs. It preserves shifting in the smaller cogs while enabling use of cassettes up to 40T. Installation is quick—typically under five minutes. The RoadLink mounts only to a standard derailleur hanger. Important: RoadLink repositions the derailleur for clearance; it does not increase derailleur capacity. Confirm your rear derailleur’s rated capacity before expanding range. It is optimized for 10- and 11-speed 11–36T and 11–40T cassettes and for Shimano road geometry; it also works very well with 9-speed road derailleurs. Not supported: 11–42, triple chainrings, or direct-mount frames. Doubles are only supported with GS (medium-cage) rear derailleurs and must remain within capacity. Specs: 6061 aluminum, 17 g. Stainless steel bolt included; torque 8–10 Nm. Color: Black. Made in USA.
