His storytelling recordings have garnered him a whole bunch of awards. He travels all over North America, but when he's home, he gets to ride his bike where he grew up, in Covington, Georgia. He thinks he's funny. Andy's four previous storytelling albums have won him Storytelling World Awards, and two of his records - Christmas at Southern White Old Lady Hospital and Bootsie in Season - have won, 'Best Storytelling Album' from the Just Plain Folks Awards. On the last cut of the album, Sister True, Andy is joined on stage by the aspiring composer, Bil Lepp in the raucous children's song (or, rather, a grown-up song about children), 'Upidstay, Umday, Ainbray.' Yikes.
