Ideal for IT technicians and desktop or notebook computer owners with numerous hard-disk drives, the MANHATTAN SATA Quick Dock eliminates the need for multiple external enclosures and inconvenient PC case installation and removal. The spring-loaded door and dual slot safely accepts and firmly holds 3.5" and 2.5" hard-disk drives. An auto power management feature shuts down the target HDD after 3 to 5 minutes of inactivity to help save energy and reduce drive wear. Its compact size with heavy-duty construction and rubber underside mounts help isolate and reduce vibration to keep the MANHATTAN SATA Quick Dock and an installed drive securely in place on a desk or technician's bench Easy to Install and Use Plug and Play with Windows compatibility quickly installs the MANHATTAN SATA Quick Dock through an available USB port without special drivers or complicated configuration. Its hot-swap capability allows rapid, multi-HDD exchanges and quick data access at SuperSpeed USB data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps without computer restarts.
