Audioquest Cinnamon USB A > B: Solid 1.25% Silver Drivers Full-core conductors eliminate distortion caused by interactions between strands and reduce jitter. Full-core conductors with a silver coating are ideal for high-frequency applications. This is explained by the fact that high-frequency signals propagate almost exclusively through the surface of the conductor. Since the surface is made of very pure silver, the result is very similar to that of a pure silver cable, but at a price much closer to pure copper. Optimized insulation The Carbon USB cable features an air-expanded polyethylene insulating sheath on both conductors, as air absorbs almost no energy and polyethylene is a low-loss material with an unimpacted distortion profile. Thanks to all the air present in the expanded PE, the sheath produces much less blur effect than many other materials.
