- A Californian who moved to Vancouver in the early 1970's in response to the Vietnam War, Shari Ulrich has released a remarkable 17 albums as a solo artist and as part of various groups, including Pied Pumkin String Ensemble, Valdy's the Hometown Band, and the acoustic/vocal trio UHF with long-time friends Bill Henderson and Roy Forbes. Amongst other accolades, this has garnered Shari two Juno Awards, several other award nominations, and an induction into the British Columbia Entertainment Hall of Fame. A multi-instrumentalist with an incomparable voice, Shari plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle, piano, accordion, cello, and percussion on her latest album, Find Our Way. Other artists featured are David Celia (guitars, harmony vocals), Bill Runge (bass, chorus accordion, piano, soprano sax), Karen Savoca (percussion), Robbie Steininger (banjo, electric slide guitar), Phil Robertson (drums, percussion), Barney Bentall (harmonica), Bruce Miller (guitar), and Shari's 19-year old daughter, Julia Graff, on violin.
