Sobre este producto
  • Eric Herman has become known in the kids' music world primarily for his ingeniously funny songs like "Cowboy Bergaleoukaleopaleous", "There's a Monster in My House" and "Blackbeard, Bluebeard and Redbeard" (winner of the 2006 Just Plain Folks award for Best Children's Song), and for his high-energy, comedy-filled live shows. But Eric has always had a softer side as well. Each of his first three CDs include some tracks that are more laid back; sweet and poignant songs that make kids smile while they're winding down from the more upbeat stuff, and songs that invariably make mothers everywhere go "awww". Eric has collected all of his "awww" songs together for Snail's Pace, the coolest "quiet-time" CD ever. In addition to previously released standouts like "Hide and Go Seek with the Moon", Snail's Pace has several new tracks including the jazzy "Scat Cat" (with amazing scat vocals by Sam Payne); the powerful spiritual metaphor of "Nightlight"; a transcendent rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (with original lyrics); and a brand new version of Eric's "The Elephant Song", which has become a huge hit among all kids' music videos on YouTube, and which features Eric's girls, Becca and Evee. (Becca also designed the cover for Snail's Pace when she was only 3.) Influences like The Beatles, Kate Bush and Paul Simon may be deep under the surface, but Eric Herman's music has a voice and style that is truly his own, and Snail's Pace is an outstanding collection of melodic and relaxing songs that really shows off Eric's unique "awww" side.
