Sobre este producto
  • Maggie Townsend was a young, innocent, newly married teacher in a rural one-room schoolhouse during the early 1930s. But because of her extraordinary good looks she was not destined to stay in that role. She was teaching on an emergency certificate because teachers were very hard to find during early depression years. Oftentimes they were not paid for months at a time. It was soon learned that she was doing a very good job. The local board encouraged her to take some college courses and gain a permanent certificate. Her financially secure husband agreed to bankroll her, so she made her way to a summer term at a small state college. It was there that learned she was a magnet for men. So, she gradually took a walk on the wild side. This journey provides a good look at what life was like during the 1930s as America started to gradually pull itself out of the Great Depression. Maggie Hammonds could not help it that she was strikingly beautiful. Her beauty took her places that she had never even imagined.
