The BF 109 was first flown in 1935 and went on to become one of the most popular axis fighter planes in wartime aviation history. Towards the end of the 2nd World War, BF 109 production reached in excess of 33,000 units. The G-10 variant was developed late in the war and had a larger 1,475 HP supercharged engine and heavier protective armor plating. Your Revell model has a movable propeller and long range fuel tank, a detailed cockpit, optional position landing gear and authentic G-10 decal markings for one Luftwaffe version. This Revell model kit is Revell item #15873. The kit consists of 40 parts and is 1:48 scale. Completed model measures approximately Length: 7.50", Wingspan: 8.125". Kit is molded in light gray and clear. Paint and glue required(not included). Recommended for ages 12 and up.
