- The enhanced Fast Hybrid AF System, which combines 693 phase-detection points and 425 contrast-detection areas, ensures faster focus acquisition in various lighting conditions and also provides improved focus tracking on subjects.
- In addition to enhancing the imaging system, the a7 III’s structure has been reimagined to incorporate a 3.0" 922k-dot touchscreen LCD at the back. This screen can tilt, facilitating shooting from various angles, high and low. The camera also boasts a 2.36m-dot Tru-Finder OLED EVF for clear and bright monitoring at eye-level the camera now includes dual SD memory card slots. It also uses a larger NP-FZ100 battery, which allows for approximately 710 shots per charge.
